Cotoneaster Bonsai Tree | Broom | In 15cm Pot
Representative image: You will receive a similar tree. Each bonsai is unique.
Introduction
Cotoneaster has small leaves and fine branching that create an appealing miniature-tree outline. The broom-style canopy creates a balanced miniature-tree silhouette. It is supplied in an approximately 15cm pot.
About this bonsai
Flowers and ornamental berries can add seasonal interest, although their timing, colour and abundance depend on species and conditions. The exact species has not been confirmed, so winter leaf retention can vary.

Position & light
Choose a bright outdoor position with sun or light partial shade and good airflow. Provide shelter from extreme drying winds.
Watering
Check the soil frequently and water the whole root ball when the upper layer starts to dry. Allow excess water to drain and avoid complete drying, especially when the tree carries flowers or berries.
Feeding & pruning
Use suitable bonsai feed during active growth. Prune selectively to preserve the outline and retain flowering growth where a berry display is wanted. Assess repotting in spring as needed.
Winter care
Keep outdoors with protection for the pot in prolonged hard frost. Continue monitoring moisture. Fruit is ornamental and should not be eaten.
What you'll receive
One Cotoneaster bonsai in the pot described above. A drip tray is not included unless specifically included in a purchased option. Photographs are representative; trunks, branches, foliage and overall shape vary naturally between trees.

Please note:
Trees
- Image shown is of the actual tree you will receive unless stated otherwise in the actual product's description
- The height given is from the base of the pot to the top of the tree.
- The tree received may be slightly different from the picture. Whilst we try to keep the photos of our trees as up to date as possible, these are live plants and, as such, will continue to grow and change slightly in between the times we take the photos.
Pots
- Some of our Bonsai pots are bought in bulk and unfortunately it's impossible to photograph each single item so the photograph used is taken from one random item of each collection we sell. In 99% of cases this means that any differences won't even be noticeable, however, if you have seen a particular image of a pot that has a certain streak of paint in a certain place, bear in mind that the pot you receive may not be 100% identical to this.
