Maple (Acer sp.) Bonsai Tree | Informal Upright | In 20cm Pot
Representative image: You will receive a similar tree. Each bonsai is unique.
Introduction
This maple bonsai offers a branching silhouette that changes through the seasons. Its informal-upright styling adds movement to the trunk line. It is supplied in an approximately 20cm pot.
About this bonsai
The precise species and cultivar are awaiting confirmation. Seasonal leaf colour varies, and the tree may arrive without leaves during dormancy. Its structure provides interest even when the canopy is bare.

Position & light
Keep outdoors in a bright, sheltered position, with protection from strong winds and intense afternoon heat. Avoid treating this temperate maple as a permanent indoor plant.
Watering
Check the soil regularly and water thoroughly when the upper layer starts to dry. Small containers can dry quickly in wind or warm weather; ensure good drainage after watering.
Feeding & pruning
Feed during active growth at the recommended rate. Use gentle maintenance pruning, and confirm species-specific timing before substantial root work or structural pruning.
Winter care
Allow natural winter dormancy and protect the pot from prolonged severe frost. Shelter tender emerging leaves from late frosts. Do not move into a warm room to prevent normal leaf loss.
What you'll receive
One Maple bonsai in the pot described above. A drip tray is not included unless specifically included in a purchased option. Photographs are representative; trunks, branches, foliage and overall shape vary naturally between trees.
Please note:
Trees
- Image shown is of the actual tree you will receive unless stated otherwise in the actual product's description
- The height given is from the base of the pot to the top of the tree.
- The tree received may be slightly different from the picture. Whilst we try to keep the photos of our trees as up to date as possible, these are live plants and, as such, will continue to grow and change slightly in between the times we take the photos.
Pots
- Some of our Bonsai pots are bought in bulk and unfortunately it's impossible to photograph each single item so the photograph used is taken from one random item of each collection we sell. In 99% of cases this means that any differences won't even be noticeable, however, if you have seen a particular image of a pot that has a certain streak of paint in a certain place, bear in mind that the pot you receive may not be 100% identical to this.
