Brush Cherry (Syzygium) Bonsai Tree | Shaped | In 30cm Pot
Representative image: You will receive a similar tree. Each bonsai is unique.
Introduction
Brush Cherry brings neat, glossy foliage and an attractive, densely branched outline to a bonsai display. Its shaped outline offers a form to maintain and refine over time. It is supplied in an approximately 30cm pot.
About this bonsai
Small flowers and ornamental fruit may appear when light, maturity and pruning allow. They are seasonal possibilities, not promised features on delivery. The exact Syzygium species has not been confirmed.
Tree details

- Pot: Approximately 30cm external width; blue glazed ceramic bonsai pot
- Position: Bright indoors or a frost-free conservatory; outside in warm weather
- Foliage: Evergreen

Position & light
Provide plenty of natural light and good airflow. Protect from cold draughts and intense radiator heat. Acclimatise gradually to a sheltered outdoor position in warm weather, avoiding abrupt exposure to strong summer sun.
Watering
Check regularly and water thoroughly as the soil surface starts to dry. Keep the root ball evenly moist without leaving the roots in standing water.
Feeding & pruning
Feed during active growth with suitable bonsai fertiliser. Trim new shoots to retain the outline. Repeated hard pruning can reduce flowering; allow the tree to settle after arrival before major styling.
Winter care
Keep bright and frost-free. A greenhouse or conservatory must provide adequate protection from cold; an unheated structure alone does not guarantee frost protection.
What you'll receive

Please note:
Trees
- Image shown is of the actual tree you will receive unless stated otherwise in the actual product's description
- The height given is from the base of the pot to the top of the tree.
- The tree received may be slightly different from the picture. Whilst we try to keep the photos of our trees as up to date as possible, these are live plants and, as such, will continue to grow and change slightly in between the times we take the photos.
Pots
- Some of our Bonsai pots are bought in bulk and unfortunately it's impossible to photograph each single item so the photograph used is taken from one random item of each collection we sell. In 99% of cases this means that any differences won't even be noticeable, however, if you have seen a particular image of a pot that has a certain streak of paint in a certain place, bear in mind that the pot you receive may not be 100% identical to this.
