Without a pot, a Bonsai tree is just a tree. Of course, there's absolutely nothing wrong with a tree being planted in the ground, or in a planter bed, but that's not why you're here. Quite literally, Bonsai can be translated as "potted tree", and you could use a standard, plastic garden pot if you wanted - but this isn't the traditional way in the art of Bonsai. To acquire that famous, authentic Bonsai aesthetic, Bonsai pots are shaped and sized in such a way as to maximize the impact of the trunk and the tree it houses, whilst creating a pleasing visual flow from top to bottom and side to side.
In some cases, finding the perfect pot for a particular tree can be a difficult task, which is why we try to offer as many different styles, shapes, sizes and designs as we can possibly fit onto our bowing shelves. If, however, you can't find exactly what you're looking for, feel free to get in touch with us and let us know your specific requirements then we'll do our best to source it for you.
